Acupressure Therapy Course |

Acupressure Therapy Has a part of your body ever gone under extreme pain? Pain relievers just do not work anymore. Some opt for newer and natural methods of relieving body pains. One of these methods is the acupressure therapy, which is derived from the words “acupuncture” and “pressure. ” the acupressure therapy method is a tcm (traditional chinese medicine) practice that is similar to acupuncture. The only difference is that needles are eliminated. Rather, acupressure is all about applying physical pressure to particular acupuncture points. The elbow, hand and other objects may be used to apply pressure manually.
It is an ancient art of healing wherein the pressured key points stimulate the self-curative capabilities of the body. And when pressed, the muscular tension are being released and the normal circulation of blood. The body has fourteen acupuncture points or the “meridians”, which carry the energy all throughout the human’s body. The meridians start from the fingertips, then connects to the brain and once again connects to the organ linked with a certain meridian. There are two techniques used in acupuncture therapy, namely the jin shin and the shiatsu. The jin shin technique is about applying gentle pressure in a certain point for some time. On the other hand, shiatsu, or sometimes called the shiatsu massage, is more common and makes use of firm and vigorous pressure. The acupressure therapy method deals with every aspect of a person – the emotions, body, mind and spirit all as a whole.
The traditional chinese medicine’s acupuncture method is slowly taking over the scientific method, which then leads to receiving of numerous criticisms based from scientific ideas. They believe that there is no logical or anatomical basis for the existence of the so-called “acupuncture points” or the meridians. However, acupuncturists recognize the concept of tcm as functional instead of structural terms, such as being helpful in guiding the evaluation of patients. As cited in some neuro-imaging research, there are some acupuncture points that have noticeable effects. While there are loads of scientific data that proves the effectiveness of acupuncture, the acupressure method was disregarded after the chinese discovered more technological innovations by using electricity, cigar fire, laser rays and needles. Nevertheless, acupressure remains the most effective way for self-treatment of diseases that is related to tension by using the hands. Acupressure therapy is renowned because it is natural and has numerous advantages. Probably the foremost of all these advantages is that it is safe and has no side effects. You can do it on your self or on others. And if it is your first time to do it, all you need to do is follow the instructions and watch out for the cautions. Since there are no drugs needed, you can neglect any worry you feel about the side effects brought by drugs. Acupressure therapy technique is very beneficial to a person. First of all, it not only relieves the body of any tension or stress but also relaxes the mind. The method also assists in the removal of any toxic wastes in the body. In addition to this, acupressure promotes healing of injuries. Any aching in the neck, shoulder or head will also vanish when acupressure is applied. Furthermore, the technique increases the energy levels of the body and the feeling of well being of a person. Lastly, acupressure is also beneficial to a pregnant woman for application can lead to reduction of labor pains. Majority of the health complications, be it arthritis to painful backs, are usually the result of an unhealthy and unnatural lifestyle. Lack of exercise, stress and poor eating habits are some of the factors that causes these complications. Acupressure is one of the many ways to help the body fight back these diseases and live a healthy life. |

Needles are generally used for sewing clothes and garments or even for syringes. A syringe was once the closest form of needle that would go through a person’s skin. But now, people deliberately allow other people to poke needles through certain points and areas of their body. This is because of the popularity of the acupuncture method. The main purpose of acupuncture therapy is to uphold the person’s health and assuage any pain or suffering being felt. As unbelievable as it may seem, the acupuncture method has been tried and tested over the years. As a matter of fact, it is still a valid practice to date.
The point of view of an acupuncturist (the person applying acupuncture) about health and sickness focuses on energetic balance or imbalance and vital energy. Similar to how a typical medical doctor watches the blood flowing in the blood vessels or messages being transmitted through the body’s nervous system, the acupuncturist measures the distribution and flow of said vital energy through the pathways that are called channels or meridians. The acupuncturist is capable of influencing sickness through the stimulation of chosen areas along the meridians. The traditional procedure of acupuncture is one where the area or acupuncture points are stimulated with needles. Nowadays, however, there are several forms of stimulation that are being used such as electricity, laser beams, magnets and herbs. Whatever is used for stimulation, its aim is still singular and that is to adjust the vital energy so that the right amount of this energy reaches the right place at the right time. This will then result to the body’s self-healing.
Acupuncture is included in the many forms of therapy included in the lucid system of medical healing that is known as oriental medicine. The oriental medicine system contains several practices such as dietetics, herbology, physical therapy and some of the special exercises (e. G. Qi gong and tai chi). It is a complete medical system by itself and is by no means a branch of the modern medicinal practices. Acupuncture started out merely as philosophies and principles that are unique to oriental medicine and oriental thinking. This is most effective when applied with accordance to the said philosophies and principles. The method was first discussed in “huang di nei jing,” an old chinese medical text that originated over 2000 years ago. Throughout the 16th century, the improvement of communication and transportation in the ancient continent paved way to the introduction of chinese medicine in japan. The religious healing and medicine came along with the religion buddhism. Currently, japan maintains the acupuncture practice as an essential part of their system of health care and is offered in combination with medicine.
Meanwhile, in north america, the practice of acupuncture therapy has evolved into a usual pain management therapy in numerous hospitals and clinics. As a matter of fact, an estimated number of 15 million american or 6% of the whole population have paid a visit to an acupuncturist and engaged in acupuncture to relieve symptoms like fatigue, arthritis, digestive complications, chronic pain, nausea and the like. In year 1885, the food and drug administration of the united states recognized acupuncture needles as valid medical equipments and considered safe and effective. The medical community also started to accept the practice of acupuncture. There are several schools like ucla that made acupuncture training a part of their curriculum. There are also some acupuncture treatments that are incorporated in numerous insurance plans. This alone is a great indication of just how the acupuncture therapy is accepted in the mainstream. It is also a sure sign of how successful it is. |

Naturopathy Course |
|
Naturopathy is the umbrella term used to depict several alternative medicine theories focusing on natural remedies and preventive measures. It is founded on the notion that the human body has inherent abilities to heal and maintain itself. The whole system encourages a holistic approach in treatment insofar as it denounces the excessive use of surgery and pharmaceutical synthetic drugs. The treatment methodologies encompassed by naturopathy receive varying acceptance in the medical community. Some of which are not yet approved to provide therapeutic claims such as homeopathy while many others are already accepted by medical practitioners worldwide such as holistic dieting and acupuncture. A brief history Hippocrates, the ancient greek “father of medicine” is considered by many practitioners as the father of naturopathic medicine. The term “naturopathy,” however, was coined only in 1895 by john scheel. The modern practice of naturopathy has already begun in europe even before that. Its roots can be traced back to the nature cure movement popular in countries such as scotland back in the 1880s. This was popularized by thomas allinson, an advocate of the so-called “hygienic medicine” which promotes natural diet, exercise and abstinence from tobacco, alcohol and overwork. In the united states, naturopathy was introduced by benedict lust who was the one to trademark the term “naturopathy,” after purchasing it from scheel. He defines the discipline as a set of techniques instead of just a mere treatment or prevention methodology. During his time, hydrotherapy, herbal medicine, and homeopathy were the famous techniques being used, not to mention, several dieting and lifestyle modification therapies. Regulations Today naturopathy has become a widely accepted discipline subscribed to in all parts of the world. In fact, schools for naturopathic medicine are now being established in the united states and canada. The level of education among naturopaths varies per training program attended as well as per country. In north america, the completion of a four-year program on naturopathy entitles one to a naturopathic doctor (nd) designation. These programs will prepare future naturopaths on the study of basic medical sciences and natural remedies and care. The practice of naturopathy also depends on the level of acceptance and regulation in a certain sovereignty. When lust came to the united states in 1901, he established the american school of naturopathy in new york. Immediately after, the naturopathic society of america was founded in 1902. Such early acceptance led 25 us states to legislate laws on licensing naturopathic and drugless practitioners in their area. Criticism However, the practice of naturopathy has also experienced its own downtime in mid-20th century when the advent of penicillin and other synthetic drugs became popular. This growth in the realms of modern pharmaceutical medicine has somewhat afflicted the humble beginnings of naturopathy. Several rules and regulations against the practice were enacted in many countries. Back in 1968, the united states department of health, education, and welfare released a report stating that naturopathy is not to be misconstrued as medical science and that naturopathy education does not suffice for practitioners to apply proper diagnosis and treatment on patients. The same report recommends that the medicare coverage on naturopathic treatment should be halted. Revival Such disturbance, however, did not last that long. The advent of holistic health movement and eastern new age thought in the 1970s revived naturopathy’s original glory as a better alternative to modern medicine. Today many people still subscribe to naturopathic treatments and prevention methodologies. |
Massage Therapy Courses |
Massage, being one of the oldest methods of healing, dates back for over more than 3,000 years ago. Different documents from ancient china, persia and ancient egypt show that massage therapy and its accompanying principles and benefits were already well-accepted back then. Even hippocrates, the greek father of medicine, recommended the practice of massage—rubbing and the use of friction—to improve blood circulation in the body. today, massage therapy, in it various forms, is widely patronized all over the world primarily for its health benefits and its ability to relax the body. Even in hospitals, massage plays an important role in rehabilitation programs. Massage therapy has been proven advantageous on arthritis, low back pains, bursitis, fatigue and even high blood pressure. It could also relax the body to allow treatment for diabetes, smoking cessation and immunity suppression. Aside from its curative value, massage helps a lot in relieving everyday stress thereby preventing a person from being more susceptible to diseases. So what exactly is massage? Massage is a form of healing that is applied physically by using friction. Massage comes in various forms in every culture that accounts for different techniques of application. It is said that there are more than 200 forms of massage practiced in different parts of the world. Most techniques are applied by kneading, stroking, tapping, rocking, compression, vibration, pressure and friction to the tissues in our body. These movements are intended to stretch and relax muscles and joints to affect the flow of energy. Treatment via massage allows for a range of benefits. Irritating lower back-pains can be remedied and at the same time, circulation is improved. With a full body massage, ones range of motion is enhanced and flexibility is developed. Athletes and other people immersed in harsh physical work will find it rejuvenating to have a massage for it would not only help them recover from cramps and spasms but also reorient their muscles to strenuous work. Having a massage is also helpful to expectant mothers preparing them for labor that would result in a shorter, easier delivery. For recovering patients, massage is an effective rehabilitation program to pursue. It is not only helpful to our tissues but also to our internal organs. Undergoing regular bodywork has been proven to activate the release of endorphins acting as the body’s natural painkiller. Massage therapy also activates the release of oxygen and nutrients into organs making a person healthier and more energetic. Since inner physiological activity is enhanced through massage, it also becomes an effective stress reliever. Stress management is actually one of the more known reasons why people patronize massage therapy. It decreases anxiety, enhances sleep and therefore, reenergizes the body for another demanding day. Aside from the physical benefits, spiritual and emotional effects are reported by regular massage clients. Its positive value includes improved concentration and a widened perspective. But massage therapy can’t be taken as just another form of relaxation. Massage, as what had been repeatedly mentioned, plays a big role in hospital rehabilitation programs. Many findings have concluded that the enormous health benefits of massage therapy in helping people with chronic illnesses lessen the difficulty of coping up with their baggage. People ailing from burn injury and arthritis find less pain and fewer aches after undergoing several sessions of massage therapy. Those who are dealing with asthma experience better breathing and pulmonary functions. A world of benefits awaits those who would consider undergoing massage therapy. Although that is the reality, one shouldn’t immediately assume that massage can take the place of medication. |

Hypnotherapy Courses |
|
Hypnosis is very famous nowadays. Some use it for calming a person down while some use it to take advantage of other people. There are also people who hypnotize others to show off. Whatever the reason is, hypnosis is a worldwide practice. And now, it is being used for therapy. This form of therapy is known as hypnotherapy, which is obviously the combination of the two words “hypnosis” and “therapy”. The word “hypnosis” came from the word hypnos, which means sleep. It is also the abbreviation of the term “neuro-hypnotism,” which translates to the “sleep of nervous system. ” A person who is hypnotized or under hypnosis shows strange qualities unlike a normal and non-hypnotized person. The most notable characteristic is hyper-suggestibility, which authorities consider an outcome of hypnosis. The practice of hypnotherapy is usually applied so one can modify the behavior, attitude and emotional content along with certain conditions like stress-related problems, personal development, dysfunctional habits, pain management and anxiety of the subject. A hypnotherapist, the person who specializes in hypnotherapy, basically use exercises that brings a person into deep relaxation and a different state of mind or the so-called trance. Several people experience trance-like states when they watch the television or sit in front of a red light. A person who is under a trance state is oddly responsive to an image or idea. However, this does not necessarily mean that the hypnotherapist can control the person’s free will and mind. In contrast, hypnosis can essentially teach a person on how to master his state of awareness. In doing so, that person can affect his own psychological responses and bodily functions. During the years on history, shamans and other ancient people make use of the trance state during rituals and other ceremonial activities. But the hypnosis known today was initially connected to the work of franz anton mesmer, a famous austrian physician. Throughout the 1700s, mesmer made use of magnets and several other hypnotic methods for treating people. The word “mesmerized” was actually derived from the physician’s last name. Although mesmer achieved quite a number of some dramatic “treatments” for paralysis, joint pain, blindness and headache, he was still not able to convince the medical community. As a matter of fact, he was accused of fraud and his methods of healing were considered unscientific. In the mid-1900s, though, hypnotherapy started regaining its popularity once more, all thanks to milton h. Erickson, who was a very successful psychiatrist. He used the method of hypnosis for his practice. And in year 1958, both the american psychological association and american medical association acclaimed the hypnotherapy method as a legitimate medical practice. Since year 1995, hypnotherapy was recommended by the national institutes of health or nih as a cure for chronic pains. Anxiety and addiction are some of the conditions for which the hypnotherapy method is usually used. Aside from the above mentioned conditions, hypnotherapy also goes well for numerous conditions. In fact, clinical studies show that the hypnosis method can develop immune function, decrease stress, increase the relaxation of a person and relieve the anxiety feelings. It is also effective for reducing fear during dental or medical procedures. Other ailments that respond greatly to hypnotherapy include sleeping disorders, warts, bedwetting, phobias, skin disorders, inflammatory bowel movement diseases, addictions, fibromyalgia, headaches, tinnitus, weight loss, indigestion and a lot more. Before you start with hypnotherapy, you should first get a proper diagnosis from your physician so that the right condition will be recognized and treated. |
Chiropractic Therapy Courses |
Back and neck pains are not things most people can take sitting down. As back and neck pains hamper a person’s ability to perform daily tasks with ease, it goes without saying that treating back and neck pains is a pressing need. There is variety of methods to treat back and neck pains, but most people prefer to have their back and neck pains treated through non-invasive methods. Since alternative medicine offers practices offer unconventional practices, people look to this branch for relief. Enter chiropractic medicine, a type of alternative practice. Chiropractic medicine is part of the manipulative and body-based practices in alternative medicine. In order to treat the problematic area, pressure is applied, or the body part is moved beyond its normal motion. The word chiropractic has greek roots; chiro means hand. Practice is derived from the word praktikos, meaning concerned with action. With the etymology of the word, it uses the hands to heal. daniel palmer pioneered the practice in the late 19th century. The ancient egyptian’s practice to manipulate the spine interested palmer, and he started exploring the practice. He soon started developing his own methods. Palmer believed that the body has an ability to heal itself, and problems in the spine may hamper the flow of energy in the body. When palmer had fine-tuned his learning, he decided that he could train more people to practice chiropractic. Thus, palmer set up a training institute. A chiropractic treatment consists of spinal adjustments. The body may not be able to perform its functions well because of misalignment of the spinal vertebrate. Chiropractors adjust the misalignments so that the body can function well again. Soft tissue therapy and other physical exercises are also included in the treatment. Other chiropractors use heat and ice, and electrical stimulation. Some others prescribe supplements like vitamins or lifestyle changes in diet to supplement the effects of the treatment. Chiropractic medicine has some similarities to conventional medicine in the sense that the patient undergoes a thorough consultation process before being treated. A physical examination is conducted, with the patient being asked to perform a series of motion or position. The patient’s medical history and x-ray results are also reviewed to determine which type of treatment must be used. Another similarity of chiropractic medicine with conventional medicine is that it also requires a degree for someone to practice it. Since the process deals with treating the spine, treatment should be done with utmost care. A chiropractor must have a full professional degree in chiropractic before he or she can treat patients. Since chiropractic medicine started, the field had practicing chiropractors divided into groups, the straights, the mixer, the objective straight, and the reform chiropractors. There are some conflicts affecting the group of chiropractors because of clashing beliefs about the practice. While chiropractic medicine works for some people in alleviating body pains, there are also possible side effects of the treatment. A person being treated through this alternative method may often feel tired, or may feel headaches |

Kinesiology Therapy Course |
|
With more and more people recognizing different methods to healing, alternative medicine is already carving a niche among different walks of life. Some people turn to a combination of conventional and alternative medicine (cam) to alleviate different body pains. Among those alternative practices is the use of kinesiology. Kinesiology therapy pertains to the study of body moves and functions. It is the science of human movement. It is also known as human kinetics. Body functions are optimized or rehabilitated through the assessment of movement, function, and performance. One system of kinesiology is applied kinesiology, which is a method used in order to diagnose a patient. to test the functions of the body, manual muscle-strength testing is conducted. If the testing is properly conducted, the patient is diagnosed accurately and thus, a befitting therapy is prescribed. Applied kinesiology traces its roots back to 1964, when dr. Goodheart observed that a weak muscle could be treated. Moreover, muscle strength could be enhanced. This observation sparked the doctor’s interest to know of exercises that enhance muscle strength. Like the practice of conventional medicine, practice of applied kinesiology requires someone a professional license. While some perform the testing without the necessary expertise, they are unable to harmonize their findings with other conventional procedures. This poses the risk of improper diagnosis, which thus leads to improper or inadequate treatment. People who perform applied kinesiology are chiropractors, physical therapists, nurses, and physicians among others. Functional biochemical and functional neurological evaluations comprise a kinesiology diagnosis. Ranges of motion and organized motion are reviewed in functional biochemics. On the other hand, physiologic response to stimulus (whether chemical, mental, or physical) is monitored in neurological evaluations. The diagnosis is meant to supplement (and not replace) conventional methods of diagnosis. To test the muscle in the evaluation, a forced is applied to the muscle area or target muscle. The patient is expected to apply resistance to exhibit a strong muscle. If the patient gives the appropriate smooth response, then it can be considered that the muscle is a smooth muscle. However, if the patient fails to give the appropriate response, then the muscle is labeled as weak. Another technique used in applied kinesiology is asking the patient to wear different colored glasses. While wearing a pair of those glasses, the patient is asked to do muscle monitoring. This is to determine which color causes the smoothest reaction gains. Like most alternative medicine practices, applied kinesiology has received a lot of flak from practitioners of conventional medicine. Doubters say that the practice does not have a theoretical basis, thus the practitioners are guilty making people believe in a quack procedure. Some others proceed to call this practice a pseudoscience, because the effects are unproven in strict scientific standards. Be as it may that this form of alternative medicine is not yet widely accepted, at the end of the day, people should always seek treatment from licensed people regardless of what practice they choose. That way, they are assured that they are on the track of making their ailments better instead of worse. |
Osteopathy Therapy Course |
More and more people struggle to keep up with the demands of our fast-paced environment. As people exert more effort to stay in the race, it is inevitable that their health takes the toll for pushing the body beyond its limits. To diagnose the malfunctions in the body, some people turn to an alternative medicine approach such as osteopathy. Osteopathy focuses on the skeletal muscles and the bones to diagnose the patient’s ailments. Aside from the muscles and bones, the ligaments and joints are also treated. In the united states, the practice of osteopathy started in 1874. Dr. Andrew tailor sill wanted an alternative way to heal his patients. He used manipulative techniques in treating his patients, and was an advocate of healthy lifestyle. He believed that by refusing to indulge in vices, the body’s physiological functions would improve. As the name of the discipline suggests, sill believed that pathological conditions were diagnosed through the osteon. Later on, sill hypothesized that when bones were misaligned, the blood flow was disrupted, thus causing a person to feel an ailment. To treat the condition, the bones must be adjusted to make the blood flow unhampered. Sill discouraged the use of medicinal drugs in treating his patients, and considered surgery as the last option. Eventually, the practice evolved with the times, but it still maintained the principle that as much as possible, treatments should be drug-free. Like other practices of alternative medicine, osteopaths believe that the body has its own ability to heal itself, and there is little need for artificial means of healing. Thus the osteopaths believe that manipulation can restore the body to its top form. Osteopathy, like conventional medicine, requires clinical training. It is regulated, so a person who wishes to practice osteopathy must have several years of training under his belt. This assures the patients that manipulation is safe. A visit to the osteopath involves performing a series of movements which the osteopath will take note of. Through touching, the osteopaths then will try to identify the body’s illnesses and abnormalities. After the diagnosis, a series of treatments is recommended to the patient. A variety of manipulative techniques like stretching and mobilizing will aid the patient. Some osteopaths also recommend certain exercises depending on the situation of the patient. Osteopathy applies to a myriad of patients with a wide age range. Some older patients have their arthritis treated through this method. Osteopathy techniques may be done on the patients’ muscles and ligaments to ease and hopefully alleviate the discomfort of arthritis. Most patients who undergo osteopathy get treated for back pains. By addressing the problems in the bones, the pain is prevented from becoming serious. In some cases, there is no need for surgery as osteopathy treatment is able to target on the problem area. Work strain may also be treated by osteopathy. Some people perform physically-demanding tasks at work, and their body functions suffer. Common pains like neck, shoulder, back pains, and pains caused by repetitive strain are addressed by improving the patient’s posture. |

Magneto therapy Course |

Magnets are known to be objects that attract metals. Nowadays, magnets are even used for therapy, known as magnetotherapy. The magnetotherapy practice is known to be an effective method for easing any pain or stiffness. When a human body gets in contact with a magnet, magnetic waves will go through the tissues. It stimulates secondary currents that will create impacting heat. Once this heat is felt, the pain you are feeling will be reduced. A magnet has the power and capability to promote cell growth. It also increases the amount of red blood corpuscles, which contain hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is rich in iron and the magnet manipulates the iron in the blood. The blood will distribute the iron to the different parts of the body, therefore removing cholesterol, calcium and many other minerals that are deposited. Magnets are also capable of purifying, cleansing, and ionizing the blood. The flow of the ionized blood will easily take place and will not result to any clotting. With magnetotherapy, the heart activities and blood pressure are alleviated. Plus, hormone secretion is regulated, which contributes to making the skin shinier. The best thing about magnetotheraphy is that there are no medicines or injections required for the magnets alone are already enough. The magnets that come in different sizes, shapes and strengths are used for regulating and strengthening the natural system. A magnet also retains the magnetic field balance of the human body. In this form of therapy, there are two kinds of artificial magnets that are being used. These two are the electro-magnets, which work only when it is connected to an electrical source, and the permanent magnets, which are magnets that may be charged with electrical current and may remain permanently magnetized. Disc-shaped magnets that have medium or high potency, specifically with 1500 to 3000 gauss power, execute most of the treatments. These magnets are basically available in pairs – the north and south pole. Both poles have distinct therapeutic characteristics. The north pole magnet is proven to be helpful in treating diseases brought about by infection of bacteria. Meanwhile, the south pole magnet is very useful in treating all the types of swelling, pain or weaknesses. Magnetotherapy is also proven effective for healing any nervous or digestive disorders and eases headaches, arthritis and severe migraine pains. A session of magnetotherapy lasts for over 20 to 30 minutes. The therapy is known to be safe from any side effects. Nonetheless, you should still follow certain guidelines and regulations. The practice of this form of therapy is a safe mode of treatment of several diseases. Unluckily, majority of the people only know about permanent magnet use only, specifically static magnetic field. There is a very considerable variety in the way of how pulsed magnetic fields and static magnetic fields are being used. Long-range experiences and other clinical studies validate that pulsed magnetic fields gives better results than static magnetic fields. There are only three proven physical mechanisms in which pulsed magnetic fields interrelate with a living matter. These are magnetomechanical effects, magnetic induction and electronic interactions. It is very important that magnetotherapy must first be understood and recognized as a part of a sophisticated therapeutic technique. It is not a rational decision to apply it singly, but it does not mean that it does not work separately. The best results are usually achieved when the magnetotherapy is incorporated into the erudite balneological and rehabilitation care. There is only a single known incompatibility with other forms of therapy, with synchronized steroids therapy of patients that are suffering multiple sclerosis. Then again, due to this action’s mechanism, combination with certain antibiotics and vasodilatating drugs is very appropriate |
Electro-homeopathy Course |
Electro-homeopathy is derived from the word “homeopathy,” which is a system for disease treatment where a patient is given very small doses of natural medications that in bigger doses would result to symptoms similar to those of the disease itself. The name “electro-homeopathy” is obviously a combination of the word ‘electro’ (pertaining to a content of electric bio-energy that is extracted from plants) and homeopathy (an alternative medical belief created by samuel hahnemann during the 18th century). Electro-homeopathy is defined by some complementary medicine sources as the use of any electrical device in combination with homeopathy. However, others contend electro-homeopathy as a therapeutic utilization of homeopathic preparations of specific bio-energy herbs. It is known to be different from the national homeopathy, which relies on consecutive diluted medications or remedies of various substances that bring about like symptoms. On the other hand, electro-homeopathy does not live by the “law of similars. ” but they are the similar because of the fact that the scientific and medical community regards both homeopathy and electro-homeopath generally as quackery or pseudoscience. The medical practice of electro-homeopathy is a healing art simply through the use of herbs alone. It was formulated by grafen ceasre mattei (known also as count ceasre mattei), an italian who was bestowed a count by pope pius ix because of his impressive healing remedies. Mattei was influenced by spagyrism and homeopathy practices and started treating his patients through his creation of a medicine with a one-of-a-kind process of “cohobation”. and after 30 years of devoted experimentations with spagyric medicine, he eventually coined a new idea of health and disease. He then introduced his latest invention in the year 1865. Although homeopathy and electro-homeopathy are being compared, they have a lot of differences. First of all, hahnemann, the man who discovered homeopathy, tried his remedies’ effect on healthy men and then observed the effects afterwards. On the other hand, mattei believed that the only path to medical power and knowledge is to try a remedy on a sick person and observe the effects it has on a person, which is exactly what he did. Plus, mattei does not recommend subdivision of the remedies, dynamization to create real effects to be exact. Hahnemann wanted the exact opposite. Mattei said that the dose of the remedy to be given should be the opposite ratio to the disease’s intensity. This leads to the electro-homeopathic philosophy. This philosophy states that a cure is a result of “organicco-vital reactions” which are caused by the agents we know as remedies and that these reactions are lessened in terms of proportions for less vitality is retained in the organism’s center. The philosophy also states that it will be deemed necessary to lessen the quantity of medicine in ratio to the severity of the disease and that if you do otherwise, you would be contradicting the law of nature, which is the famous line “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”. The electro-homeopathy medications are called the spagyric essences, which are made from one hundred and fourteen herbs through a delicate process known as “cohobation”. In alchemy, this is the reassmblin of purified elements acquired by means of spagyrism. A spagyric essence is colorless or yellowish and has a very intense aroma. Amidst all the homeopath discussions, the big quandary is to know if a person has a right to diluting the medicine amount or not. There are some who believes in electro-homeopathy and there are some who do not. It sometimes makes sense to lessen the amount of some medication for taking too much medicine may cause some side effects. |
